Part of the ministry of St Paul’s and the Diocese of Pennsylvania to the City of Chester is the Wellness Clinic. It is primarily operated by the Widener University Nurse Practitioner Program, with Dr Paula Gray as its director. It collaborates closely with various agencies and facilities in Chester, including Chester Eastside.

The clinic offers services to individuals, families and the overall community. These include health screenings and physical examinations including health care for children – school physicals, sports physicals, nutrition classes. It offers primary health care to the uninsured or underinsured for short-term conditions- sore throat, sinusitis, GYN exams, STD treatment and health care for common chronic medical conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma

The clinic promotes prevention services and instruction in healthy lifestyle choices and holistic self-management, assistance in accessing other community services and promotion of long-term health goals, through individual and community education sessions and assistance with referrals to support groups and other community resources.
